Killing one Soul is not equal to Killing Humanity

In their desperation to find something humane in their Quran, Muslims love to quote Sura 5:32.

It’s used to portray Muhammad as a humanitarian who believed in the sanctity of life. It is also used to deflect the charges of terrorism from Islam and make it sound like Buddhism.

To get a better understanding of this passage and see how the Muslim’s use of it creates more problem for Islam, I will quote from verse 27 down to verse 33 and comment along.

Sura 5:27 But recite unto them with truth the tale of the two sons of Adam, how they offered each a sacrifice, and it was accepted from the one of them and it was not accepted from the other. (The one) said: I will surely kill thee. (The other) answered: Allah accepteth only from those who ward off evil.

Obviously,  Muhammad is the one speaking here, not Allah. And the story being recited is vague when you compare it with the real account (Genesis 4:3-10).

If Abel knew Cain would kill him beforehand, he wouldn’t have been with him in the field, so the words “I will kill thee” there is from the pen of someone redacting the Bible story.

28 “Even if thou stretch out thy hand against me to kill me, I shall not stretch out my hand against thee to kill thee, lo! I fear Allah, the Lord of the Worlds”

Does a person who is murdered return to earth to retaliate? Interestingly, Allah didn’t teach Muslims to emulate Abel, instead he said:

“If anyone commits aggression against you, attack him just as he attacked you, and fear God…” (Sura 2:194).

Allah is also called the “lord of the worlds.” According to the Bible, Satan is “the god of the world” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

29 “Lo! I would rather thou shouldest bear the punishment of the sin against me and thine own sin and become one of the owners of the fire. That is the reward of evil-doers

Yet Sura 29:7 and 53:38 say man cannot bear the load of sin of another!

If the above verse is true, then those verses are wrong.

Note also that the threat of hell fire was Muhammad’s trademark.

30 “The (selfish) soul of the other led him to the murder of his brother: he murdered him, and became (himself) one of the lost ones.”

How is this any different from the way Muhammad murdered Kinana, Asma, Al-Nadr, Uqbah and those 8 men of Uraynah? No difference.

If this act of murder makes Cain to be “one of the lost ones” that also makes Muhammad. What is sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander.

31 “Then Allah sent a raven scratching up the ground, to show him how to hide his brother naked’s corpse. He said: Woe unto me! Am I not able to be as this raven and so hide my brother’s naked corpse? And he became repentant

Unfortunately, the Muslim’s mind has been so suppressed that he doesn’t see anything wrong with this verse.

“Then Allah sent…” the author of the Quran keeps forgetting to maintain the narrative as coming from Allah, so most times, he makes slips by addressing Allah in third person rather than in the first person.

There is even a place where the author of the Quran says, “I swear by Allah that they won’t believe…” (Sura 4:65). Yet Muslims are being brainwashed to believe every jot and tittle in this big book were written by Allah himself!

The idea of ravens teaching humans how to bury the dead is a tale for children. Do ravens bury their own dead? It’s strange to find grown ups absorbing this gobbledygook.

This tale was actually stolen from an old Jewish fable called Targum of Jonathan written by Pirke Rabbi Eliezer centuries before Muhammad was born. It says:

“Adam and his companion sat weeping and mourning for him [Abel] and didn’t know what to do with him as burial was unknown to them. Then came a raven…took the body of its dead companion, scratched the earth and hid it before their eyes. Then said Adam ‘I shall do as this raven as done and at once he took Abel’s body, dug the earth and buried it” (Ch. 21).

If the Quran is from Allah, why did it plagiarise an old Jewish rabbi’s fable?

32 “On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone slew a person- unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land- it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land

This verse applies only to “the Children of Israel” (Jews), not Muslims. Also, there are two exceptions attached to the rule – in cases of murder and mischief.

The tafsir Ibn Kathir quotes Qatada saying:

“Their mischief is disobeying Allah, because whoever disobeys Allah on the earth, or commands that Allah be disobeyed, he has committed mischief on the earth.”

The same source says only when a single Muslim is killed does it equal to the whole of mankind. That’s the context of the text.

Since Muslim terrorists are convinced that Christians, Jews or pagans are causing mischief everywhere, this verse actually calls for their murder.

Furthermore, the idea of “kill one soul, kill all humanity” was also an old Jewish myth. It was an idea borrowed from the Mishnah Sanhedrin.

In it, a rabbi speculated based on Genesis 4:10 that:

“Man was created single in order to show that to him who kills a single individual it shall be reckoned that he has slain the whole race but to him who preserved the life of a single individual, it is counted that he hath preserved the whole race” (4:5).

Islamic scholar, Professor Alfred Guillaume admits that in the Quran, “the story of the world’s first murderer [Cain] affords a most informing example of the influence of a Jew behind the scenes” (The Influence of Judaism on Islam. The Legacy of Israel, p. 139).

Evidently, Muhammad was depending on some Jews in composing his Quran, but he didn’t know they were supplying him with their fables rather than their Scriptures. And Allah too didn’t know the difference between myths and facts.

This verse is even a logical fallacy. Killing one person is not the same as killing the whole of humanity.

Muhammad himself killed many people and instructed his followers to do the same (Sura 8:12, 9:5, 14, etc.), so this verse – if taken literally – actually exposes his hypocrisy.

33 “The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter…”

Anyone who doesn’t find this verse to be horrendous is no longer normal.

The term “wage war against Allah” refers to any idea contrary to submission to Islam’s god and prophet. It includes¬†speaking against Islam or Muhammad.

Building a church, preaching the gospel, giving out a Bible or Christian book, Western education or any movie, book or material attacking the Quran in any Islamic enclave also fall under this category.

What the verse is saying is: if you don’t submit to our god and prophet and embrace our cult, we have the right from our god to:
1. Kill you
2. Torture you by crucifixion
3. Cut off your hands and feet
4. Expel you.

Is this not wickedness and extreme intolerance? Only a barbaric and cruel religion would teach this.

Let me be blunt here, anyone trying to justify this verse is demonised and we must be wary of such folks.

The very proceeding verse after Islam’s most famous propaganda verse exposes it as a wicked religion! What an epic failure.
